Finding the best use-cases is the biggest challenge facing Deutsche Telekom as it moves towards 5G, the operator’s new Chief Technology and Innovation Officer has said.
In an exclusive video interview at Mobile World Congress, Claudia Nemat discussed the role of managed guaranteed low latency, for example in working with robotics and remotes.
Nemat said there were several challenges ahead on 5G, including bringing together technologies, managing transitions and agree on standards.
“The biggest challenge is to get the best use-cases together with our customers,” she said.
The executive also discussed her role heading up the new Technology & Innovation division, which came into being in January.
