IoT provider Telenor Connexion has expanded its partner programme by adding companies that handle the likes of IT services, smart wireless businesses and electronics manufacturers.
The company said it wanted to bring an increased focus to its partner programme to help companies take advantage of IoT connectivity.
By partnering with others, Telenor Connexion is able to offer a solution spanning hardware, communication, analytics, applications and other services.
The company recently appointed ICT specialist Jesper Lagerstedt to lead the expansion of its partners. He said: “Our ambition is to work closely with selected partners on a long-term basis to create additional customer benefits and generate new joint business. We view our partners as an extension of our team and collaborate inbusiness development, technical integration, and development of IoT solutions.”
He added: “Our joint value proposition supports our customers’ business growth, helps them generate new revenue streams, and increases their profitability.”
So far the company has added 10 new partners in 2016. These include Nordic IT services company Tieto, electronics manufacturer Flex, wireless radio provider LumenRadio and smart wireless systems manufacturer STE Industries.
Niclas Norlén, CTO at Lumen Radio, said: “IoT is not only a huge and growing business opportunity, but it is also an opportunity to make the world a better place through smarter products with less energy consumption, improved resource utilization, and creating possibilities previously deemed impossible. Together with Telenor Connexion’s extensive cellular network and our ultra reliable connectivity for sensors and actuators, we can offer complete IoT solutions and reach additional customers.”
