Global communications company Havas Group has selected Telefónica Business Solutions to manage cybersecurity across its global footprint.
Under the agreement, Telefónica will maintain and provide support across the Havas Group’s installed base of firewalls and network security. In addition, the contract includes end-to-end integration, support and consultancy to prevent, detect and respond to daily threats.
Frédéric Degras, Chief Information Officer World (CIO), Havas, commented, “All firewalls will be updated automatically and in real-time. This is a great added value which will limit considerably cyberattacks risks.
“We choose to partner with Telefónica for its deep expertise in cybersecurity and trust them to deliver high-quality services in our worldwide offices. This agreement will also reduce our global security costs.”
Re-defining security
Increasingly companies are re-defining their security strategy to focus on cyber-resilience and to address the evolving threat to their environments, Telefónica says.
