Mobile Europe has launched a survey into the highs and lows of 2014, and what the industry can expect from 2015.
The survey is aiming to discover what technology had the biggest impact this year, what has been overhyped and which vendors and operators have been the most innovative. The survey will also ask for the industry’s opinion about who they think is the best CTO of 2014, ahead of Mobile Europe’s award being presented at Mobile World Congress.
A full report of the survey’s findings will be published in the December/January issue of Mobile Europe, which will also include a review of the year and predictions about the next 12 months.
Mobile Europe Editor Graeme Neill said: “The past 12 months have seen operators experiment with virtualised networks, launch LTE-Advanced services and announce Internet of Things projects, from smart cities to smart parking.
“Our survey will discover the hits and misses of 2014 and predict what we can expect from the months ahead.”
