    {tab Overview}

    Initial 5G services and use cases that operators are deploying vary widely, from fixed wireless access to reconfigurable factories with no cables, automated cars and remote health services, smart grid, campus networks that combine public and private infrastructure, and so much more. 5G will bring operators new capabilities through network slicing, automation and virtualisation to address the diverse requirements of consumers and various verticial sectors.

    With so many competing pressures, it’s hard for operators to establish which use cases they should prioritise and when. This webinar has lots of practical information about various use cases and empirical evidence gleaned from progress for far, as well as looking ahead. It is hosted by Mobile Europe & European Communications‘ editor, Annie Turner with thought-provoking presentations from Klaus Moschner, Executive Programme Manager, NGMN and Nick Sampson, Director of Wireless Access and Core Network Standardisation, Orange. This is was rare opportunity for attendees to put some probing questions and observations to those tasked with making 5G an operational success, now and in future.
