    -

The managed LAN service is available in 20 markets around the world, based on Extreme Network’s ExtremeCloud IQ.

The German-headquartered operator group will deploy ExtremeCloud IQ to provide clients with monitoring, management and data insights to help their digital transformation efforts and the managed service is available now.

DT will enable customers in more than 20 countries to proactively monitor, report compliance of service level agreements, and other metrics “via a service that offers security, flexibility, and scalability at a reduced delivery cost”.

DT’s existing net-based LAN service (NBLS) customers with “a related subscription” will be migrated to ExtremeCloud IQ at no extra cost. Find more details about what the service offers here.

    New normal

Camille Mendler, Chief Analyst, Enterprise, at Omdia, commented, “Network flexibility, resilience, and performance are top criteria for enterprises selecting a managed network service provider.

“In the new normal, advanced cloud-powered network management solutions like ExtremeCloud IQ are essential in providing organisations with key insights on network activities and performance. Globally, a quarter of enterprises are increasing their managed network services budgets due to COVID-19.”
