Mobile Europe is proud of its annual CTO of the Year Awards which are now in their 11th year. Our Awards are open to telecoms service providers of all types – altnets and incumbents, mobile and fixed, B2B and B2C, satellite and subsea, converged operators and cablecos, and more in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The CTO of the Year Awards are all about recognising the leadership skills of individuals but are intended as a celebration of what they have achieved through the efforts of the teams they inspire.

There are two annual Awards, although in exceptional cases, the judges have the discretion to recognise further outstanding contributions.
Weinvite submissions for the CTO of the Year Awards 2024 in these two categories:
- THE TRAILBLAZER is someone who can demonstrate their organisation is offering services beyond connectivity or providing new kinds of connectivity – private networks or network slices, for example – or by enabling self-service. Or new revenue streams from leveraging other assets.
- THE GAMECHANGER is responsible for carrying out established core operations and business but not as usual – they should demonstrate how they are leveraging new technologies – such as AI, analytics, automation, open platforms and APIs – to gain what business advantages. Example could be reducing their energy consumption, improving customer service, cutting costs or reducing order to cash.
