Deutsche Telekom extends Anite mobile testing solution deal

    -

Wireless device testing firm Anite has signed a new three-year deal with Deutsche Telekom to provide interoperability test solutions for mobile devices on its network.

DT is no stranger to Anite’s SAS platform, which it has been using for over five years to analyse issues including dropped calls, non-received calls and network-related signalling.

The Germany-based operator has extended the deal, which enables it to create customised test cases to test new device features prior to launch, ensuring that devices operate as intended on the network and improving end-user satisfaction.

DT said that, as a result of using the solution, it had experienced a reduction in customer support calls and the number of requests for device swaps and repairs, enabling them to make cost savings over a longer period of time.

Dr Ralf Mehlan, DT’s VP Terminal Integration and Validation, added: “[It] is proven to save us time, resources and money.”

UK-based Anite said that SAS is used by over 200 customers in 85 countries.
