Telekom Austria’s mobile communications subsidiary, mobilkom austria, today announced that just a few weeks after the launch of Vodafone live! in June in Austria, expectations have been exceeded.
Almost 300,000 customers of mobilkom austria have access to the new mobile lifestyle service – 60,000 of them have a Vodafone live! package for EUR 5/month, enabling the use of content and free surfing on the portal. Moreover, 45,000 Vodafone live! mobile phones have been sold.
Hannes Ametsreiter, mobilkom austria’s Chief Marketing, Sales and Customer Services Officer said: “Data revenues from our customers with a Vodafone live! mobile phone are more than twice as high as those from other mobilkom austria’s customers.”
Over 80 % of mobilkom austria’s Vodafone live! customers take advantage of the great variety of games, ring tones, information and entertainment. On the average they spend almost an hour monthly on the mobile portal of Vodafone live!.
