    This time it’s KPN

Ericsson and KPN have signed a Memorandum of Understanding  for the roll-out of an HSDPA network for both KPN and Telfort in the Netherlands. Ericsson will be the sole supplier for the radio access side of these networks, and the operator wants to have services launched before the end of the year.

Marco Visser, COO of KPN Mobile the Netherlands, said, “The main reason for selecting Ericsson is that they  will provide us with the  capability to launch HSDPA technology before the end of this year.”

Nils De Baar, President, Ericsson  in the Netherlands, says: “We  are very proud  to  provide  KPN  and Telfort  with  our  advanced  HSDPA technology, which will allow them  to offer advanced mobile  services to consumers.  Being selected  as  3G radio  network and  HSDPA  sole supplier confirm our long lasting partnership.”
