The COVID-19 crisis has put network operators and their outstanding responses to the emergency centre stage. Here’s your chance to recognise their efforts.
Mobile Europe/European Communications are proud to launch our CTO of the Years Awards 2021. These prestigious Awards are now in their eighth year (see former winners below). There are two categories, and you can enter yourself or on behalf of your CTO:
• Trailblazer of the Year – we are looking for a CTO (CTIO or equivalent title) with bold ideas for what a future telco should be. We were looking for a creative, pioneering leader who can demonstrate their company is offering digital services beyond connectivity.
• The Gamechanger of the Year – the winner of this Award will be a CTO (CTIO or equivalent title) who excels at leveraging assets through increasingly lean, efficient and effective network operations that make use of technologies such as AI, open platforms, open APIs and an increasingly converged infrastructure and better customer experience. We are looking for CTOs who run ‘business as usual’ in anything but a usual way.

Don’t hesitate to email the editor, anniet@mobileeurope.co.uk with any queries. The deadline is 7 May 2021.
Those who are shortlisted will be invited to join our virtual roundtable on 9 June 2021 – which was a huge success last year, with nine of Europe’s finest having a very lively and wide-ranging debate – at which the winners will be announced.
