Vodafone, Deutsche Telekom, Telia to star at Mobile Europe/EuroComms IoT event

    -

Who the Internet of Things belongs to, the future of LoRa, and the opportunities of the smart home are among the topics that will be explored in the second annual Mobile Europe/European Communications IoT seminar.

Senior executives from Vodafone, Deutsche Telekom, BT and Telia Company will be among the speakers at the event, which takes place on 30 November in London.

The event is being held at The Crystal building, which is home to the world’s largest exhibition on the future of cities and is the world’s most sustainable events venue.

Other topics that will be explored include the connected car market, how operators can make the IoT pay, as well as an exclusive presentation by BT about its CityVerve project in Manchester.

More details about the event, which is free to attend, can be found here.

Mobile Europe Editor Graeme Neill said: “The Internet of Things continues to be one of the most talked about areas of the telecoms market, largely because it could impact all parts of our lives.

“From transport to the home, from smart cities to security, there are countless opportunities for operators to take advantage of.

“However, there are also plenty of challenges from ensuring you have the right technology in place, you are protecting customer data and keeping them safe, and determining how you can make money from your IoT investments.

“Last year’s event was a great success and we are delighted to have more fantastic speakers to explore the state of the IoT market as we go into 2017.”
