Global mobile content retailer, Mobile Streams, announced today that it has signed a deal with European Ringback Tone specialist Muzicall to distribute a range of its content through Muzicall's distribution channels in the UK, Switzerland, Portugal and The Netherlands.
The new Ringback Tone content from Mobile Streams will be added to the existing channels that Muzicall operates for network operators in these countries. The Ringback Tone is what a caller hears when they ring someone's mobile phone instead of the usual ‘ring ring' tone. These tones are generally music, however, users can also select from a range of other options including TV & film themes, sound effects & nametones to create a personalised content library for their callers including selecting different Ringback Tones for each person.
"Ringback Tones are extremely popular in Asia and this trend is rapidly making its way into the European market.
