Orange, the second largest mobile operator in Switzerland, has chosen MCTEL to deploy its USSD browsing solutions on its network, offering a suite of services to its mobile customers.

As the number of its subscribers increased, Orange was looking for an alternative to IVRs and Call Centers that was both cost-efficient and satisfying for its customers. We are very pleased that we found a better self-care alternative to IVRs" says Federico Quevedo, PrePay Product Manager at Orange Switzerland.

The MCTEL USSD browsing solutions have been running on Orange's network for almost one year, and the deployment is said to have allowed Orange to leverage on the USSD bearer and contributed to reducing the OPEX and generating additional revenue from value-added services.
