What convergence is all about, says Orga Systems

    -

As the number of different convergent approaches is increasing, now is the time to look behind the scenes, to review the migration process and to scrutinize achievements and benefits. To enable this look behind the scenes, Orga Systems will hold an interactive workshop with Asian operators at this year's NGT APAC Summit. The focus will be on effective billing strategies to enhance marketing and sales capabilities effectively.

    Ensure profitable end-to-end convergence
Based on use cases and experience from Asia, Latin America as well as Continental and Eastern Europe, the workshop's focus will be on professional migration management, significant TCO reduction and future-driven business scenarios. Beside technical issues, the aspect of time-to-market, the strong need for real-time capabilities and examples of valuable marketing programs to achieve sustainable subscriber growth will be clearly highlighted. In other words: proven strategies for tier 3 up to tier 1 operators to ensure profitable end-to-end convergence in the long-run.

    Seven questions on Convergence
What is convergence all about? Is it more than just a payment method? What about all the promises made by vendors? What about all the expectations on the operators' side? What about real-time performance, reliability and profitability of truly convergent billing systems? And last but not least: what about the future challenges to be managed by convergent billing systems? These questions will be answered by Orga Systems at the NGT APAC Summit 2009 in Singapore. The summit will serve as an arena for senior level executives to engage in a clear and focused dialogue with their peers to examine their technology and management objectives.
