me2me AG, a supplier of web and voice services, is teaming up with MeMeMe, Ditech Networks and Iperia as part of a mobile application partnership programme. me2me AG will represent these companies and market their products in EMEA. The agreements are part of me2me's String of Pearls strategy to add new services on top of me2me's Web and Voice Engine (WAVE) platform.
me2me combines the web with voice recognition technology to provide users with a way to store and access all of their daily life information and help make their life run more smoothly. Users simply call in and store information direct to their me2me account, where it is converted into text. Users can retrieve stored information any time by either calling the account or accessing it online.
"Adding MeMeMe's automatic transcription for voice-to-SMS, Ditech's toktok to access me2me data while on a call and Iperia's visual voice mail client to our product portfolio are three major steps in our String of Pearls strategy, by which we enhance the existing me2me offering with compelling partner products", said Peter Hauser, CEO of me2me AG. "We are also excited by the prospects our partners' products have on the EMEA market."
MeMeMe's hosted speech-to-text platform provides the foundation to speech-enable applications such as Voicemail-to-Text, Mobile Messaging (email, text, IM, social networking, etc.) and Mobile Search in several languages.
Ditech's toktok application provides voice web access over a regular phone call. toktok enables simple bidirectional access to web applications, social networks, sports scores, calendar and contacts enabling people to make updates using voice commands and hear updates ‘whispered' to them all while in a call. The service is being designed to instantly activate when ‘toktok' is said during a phone call, eliminating the hassle and worry of dropping a call while manually checking availability or fumbling through a contact list. Additionally, Ditech's SimulScribe voice transcription service is an integral component to voice applications. The partnership with Ditech will allow me2me to take advantage of Ditech's SimulScribe services, providing me2me users with the industry leading performance of Ditech's SimulAuto service.
Iperia's unified voice and mobile messaging applications provide an extremely rich set of capabilities for any message type, across any network, simplifying access from virtually any device or end user point (phone, mobile handset, PC, email, web, TV, or social networking). For example, an application like Voice Messaging is accessed via Iperia's Visual Messaging mobile client through a scroll-click-listen interface, unifying voicemail and other message types. Similarly, Iperia's Visual Messaging web portal provides a unified interface for voicemail and other message types that can be accessed from any web-enabled device. At the core for Iperia, is the IperiaVX platform, based on a Service Oriented Architecture and web services, allowing for new and existing applications to integrate into a voice-enabled framework with complete interoperability of shared resources and systems.
