Ubiquisys, the developer of 3G femtocells, has announced that it has appointed Scott Kauffman as a member of the Board of Directors. Kauffman brings over 20 years of leadership experience from across the marketing, advertising and internet industries; including key positions at CompuServe and Time Warner. According to Ubiquisys, Kauffman's experience will be invaluable as it builds relationships with Internet application and content providers.

In 2006, Scott was named President and Chief Operating Officer of BlueLithium, a leading data driven performance marketing company, which was acquired by Yahoo! in 2007. He also served as President and CEO of several Silicon Valley start-up companies, including Zinio, one of the biggest global online publishing and distribution services company, with divisions focusing on digital magazine and book publishing, and AdKnowledge, one of the Internet industry's first third-party ad servers.
Kauffman also sits on the boards of MDC Partners, a marketing services company, Coremetrics, a provider of digital marketing optimization solutions, and Zango, an online media company providing consumers free access to a large catalogue of sought-after videos, games, music, tools and utilities.
