F-Secure, a specialist in security services through mobile operators and Internet Service Providers, has announced its Mobile Security solution for the Windows Mobile platform.
The solution provides protection for Windows Mobile Smartphone and PocketPC users. The application combines real-time antivirus as well as anti-spyware functionality with a firewall. A firewall provides additional security for all mobile devices that access public networks such as Wi-Fi. Furthermore it features automatic over-the-air antivirus updates.
With the latest launch of its Mobile Security product, F-Secure says it now provides a complete security suite with firewall, antivirus and antispyware functionality for all the main mobile platforms running an open operating system: Windows Mobile, Symbian S60 and UIQ. The product will be available during the second quarter.
