Including over 1,500 customer upgrades – Two retail outlets opened – New phone insurance product announced with 3 free months for new customers
Anglia Telecom, a wholly owned subsidiary of TTG Europe plc, the AIM quoted provider of fixed and mobile, voice and internet telecommunications solutions to business customers in the Benelux and the UK, has announced that it achieved its highest-ever number of monthly mobile connections in June.
Anglia sold over 3,500 brand new connections and carried out over 1,500 handset upgrades. This is substantially higher than the connection rate for previous months and continues the recent trend of growth in the company’s business. Current figures for July show that the new month has followed through strongly with similar levels of connection.
As a consequence, Anglia has taken on additional staff to deal with its continuing expansion which also includes the opening of two new mobile phone shops, one in Great Yarmouth and one in Ipswich.
This month Anglia Telecom also introduced a new insurance product. This will enable existing and new customers to buy insurance at competitive rates for their mobile phones underwritten by one of the UK’s major insurance providers. For new customers the initial three-month period will be free.
All of these new initiatives come partly as a result of Anglia’s continuing progress in expanding its dealer base and its ability to provide them with the tools to give customers first-class service and value. It already has a nationwide network of resellers through which it offers UK-based SME and corporate customers a complete range of fixed and mobile solutions for voice, data and internet.
