Xiam Technologies, a leading provider of solutions for the marketing and management of mobile content, will be demonstrating its mobile content marketing software, MPOS, at 3GSM 2007. The latest version of MPOS has been developed in response to a specific market need for a solution to market mobile content and services over the mobile channel and to open up the mobile channel to advertising.
MPOS is a modular software suite that allows operators to automate marketing and promotion of mobile content and services, capitalise on cross-selling opportunities, and sell mobile content directly to individual subscribers on a one-to-one basis.
With widespread adoption of multimedia handsets and the emergence of networks capable of delivering content and data services, operators have the ability to bring rich content offerings to the marketplace via their portals. However, they have not managed to generate the predicted revenues from mobile content. Now the question is how to effectively sell content and services to customers that are compelling and relevant to their lifestyles and needs as individuals, and to maintain revenues when faced with an increasingly commoditised voice segment.
One of the biggest challenges in this area remains the inability of current infrastructures to leverage all available subscriber knowledge within the operator’s organisation. Operators can use this information to proactively present content and services that are relevant to customers on an individual basis. Xiam has developed a new and innovative way of deploying an environment to enable operators to intelligently utilise all existing subscriber information to overcome limitations with the existing delivery environment.
Colm Healy, CEO of Xiam comments: “We have made a significant inroads into the market with our MPOS solution and have seen our revenues increase by 100% in the last year – this underlines the strength of the MPOS solution.”
