Tele2 is using a Nokia analytics solution to improve service availability and quality on its Dutch network.
The operator will now use geolocation capabilities from Nokia Traffica to find out where its subscribers are experiencing problems.
Through a map-based visualisation, the solution offers a detailed street-level view of issues such as poor cell coverage or dropped calls down to the level of an individual street, allowing the operator to respond with local solutions.
It is part of Nokia’s Cognitive Analytics portfolio, which serves up data such as subscriber activity to service providers to allow them to manage networks more efficiently.
The agreement extends a long-term partnership between Tele2 Netherlands and Nokia, which has also seen it deploying the latter’s portfolio of FlexiZone small cells. The vendor also supplies it with the nationwide greenfield RAN and related network management system NetAct.
