Netcracker puts full stack Digital BSS/OSS and orchestration on AWS

    -

Netcracker Technology’s portfolio is designed to give operators – such as T-Mobile Netherlands – agility, rapid scaling and cost efficiency, and rapid access to new revenues.

Netcracker offers operators on-demand services that are microservices-based, use open APIs and run on container platforms – such as AWS.

The company said a multi-cloud strategy is becoming increasingly important for operators, and that AWS enables rigorous testing and security compliance for the resource-consuming processes such as revenue, customer and service management.

    T-Mobile Netherlands

The combined offering has been commercially deployed and is already helping service providers such as T-Mobile Netherlands to deliver and make money from new services faster.

Operations have also been simplified by the transparent management of different types of cloud resources.

“A successful partnership with IT providers is essential for our transformation journey,” said Cristina Petcu, IT Director, T-Mobile Netherlands.

“Our deployment of [Netcracker’s] Digital BSS applications on AWS is a great achievement that contributes to our overall transformation strategy.”

    Opening up the AWS Marketplace

Netcracker is collaborating with AWS to integrate a range of AWS Marketplace services into its own Digital Marketplace, to provide a centralised, catalogue-driven e-commerce shopping.

Through Netcracker’s Digital Marketplace, service providers can combine their own services with a selection from over 5,000 partner products and services available in AWS Marketplace.

Through other partners, operators could offer personalised digital service bundles with offers and promotions, to achieve differentiation.
